September 29, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker:
Martin Hull, System Engineer
& Product Manager

Palo Alto Networks Speaker:
Chris King Director, Product Marketing

With the recent spate of public breaches involving data centers and core intellectual property, enterprises are revisiting network security in the data center – but not in isolation. Higher speeds, more traffic, and virtualization complicate the requirements for enterprise next-generation data center network architecture. What's needed is a flexible, scalable, and reliable data center network, that can accommodate the increasingly dynamic demands enterprises have, AND secure them against sophisticated, modern attacks. Please join Arista and Palo Alto Networks for a discussion on the network and security architectures for building and securing next-generation data center networks. Specific topics will include:

  • Modern threats against data center networks

  • Designing and building next-generation data center networks – securely

  • Accommodating performance demands, reliability requirements, and virtualization

October 7, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker:
Nick Ciarleglio, Sales Engineer

TIBCO Speaker:
William McLane
Sr. Product Architect- Messaging

The demands for low-latency messaging infrastructure for application to application communication continue to increase with the continuing deployment and improvement of algorithmic and high frequency trading systems. Arista and TIBCO have partnered to create a high throughput, extreme-low-latency, and transport agnostic messaging middleware solution. In this session you will learn about: high-performance messaging architectures, real-world performance benchmarks, and how to optimize your low-latency messaging infrastructure.

October 14, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: Mark Berly, Sr. Systems Engineer
Solarflare Speaker: Bruce Tolley, VP Solutions Marketing
MapR speaker: Jack Norris, VP Marketing

Solarflare, Arista, and MapR join together to address the requirements of today's Big Data analytics clusters. With data sets in the petabytes and only growing being able to efficiently and effectively process this data to get the intelligence necessary to optimize your business is increasingly computationally and storage intensive. Arista has partnered with Solarflare and MapR to create end-to-end Hadoop architectures that accelerate the outcome by increasing performance, tying into topology aware storage architectures, and optimize file system and MapReduce performance. In this webinar you will learn how to build and deploy the fastest big data clusters possible while optimizing on cost and maintaining resiliency and reliability.

October 21, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker:
Andre Pech, Manager, Software Engineering

Cloudscaling Speaker:
Troy Angrignon, VP, Sales and Marketing

Quanta Speaker:
Mike Yang, Cloud Computing Business Unit VP&GM

Enterprise technology providers have been positioning their solutions for public and private clouds with meager results, it is fundamentally impossible to build profitable cloud services when paying the enterprise computing, storage, and virtualization taxes to companies whose business model does not support the operation of profitable cloud services. Arista has partnered to deliver several successful clouds to market - this session will go in depth into the architectures and equipment selected, how to cost effectively scale the operation, mistakes to avoid, and discuss successful business models for transformation into a cloud provider.

October 28, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

This event has been moved to December.

November 4, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: TBD

Speaker: TBD

Increasing IO Densities deployed in modern scale-out storage systems are driving a swift departure from the 1Gb architectures o the past and increasing adoption of 10Gb and Nx10Gb systems to meet application and virtualization throughput and reliability requirements. A thoughtful deployment of high performance storage on the network takes into account an analysis of the transit buffer capacity and actively monitors for congestion and errant oversubscription that impacts performance. In this session you will learn about the architectures for scale-out storage interconnect and how they intersect network performance, buffer capacity, and flow control mechanisms so end-user and application performance is maximized.

November 11, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: TBD

Speaker: TBD

This webinar discusses how the introduction of cost-effective SSD/NVRAM storage systems has moved servers from being spindle-bound on performance to being I/O bound and thus driving not just 10Gb, but in many cases Nx10Gb throughput for mission-critical workloads. This session will explore the demands flash-based acceleration technologies place on the network, their positive impacts on application and business performance, and what you can do to prepare your infrastructure to be capable of deploying these acceleration technologies seamlessly.

November 18, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: TBD

Speaker: Peter Bookman, CEO of V3

Arista and v3 Systems have recognized that low latency and high performance networking is essential to delivering an uncompromising end user experience when replacing physical desktops in the enterprise or as a service.  Combining v3 Systems experience in building state-of-the-art high performance desktop replacment technology with Arista's stable and ultra-low latency networking yields a joint solution that can reliably replace thousands of desktops with streamlined, higher performance, and easier to manage virtualized systems.

December 2, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: Doug Gourlay,
VP of Marketing at Arista Networks

VMware Speaker: Allwyn Sequeira,
CTO & VP, Cloud Networking &
Security at VMware

Join Arista and VMware technical leaders as we go in-depth into the new Virtual eXtensible LAN technology -VXLAN.  VXLAN delivers on the ability to execute Stateful Layer-3 vMotion's - the live migration of a workload to any server in the network, at any time, in seconds, regardless of the IP addressing topology of your infrastructure.  VXLAN overcomes the segmentation boundaries and broadcast domain constraints of 802.1q VLANs, replacing them with a more granular and scalable model for segmentation and scaling.  In this session you will learn about VXLAN, the framing format, encapsulation mechanism, how to prepare the network and infrastructure, and how to operate and troubleshoot this environment.

December 9, 2011 - 10:00am PDT

Arista Speaker: TBD
Mark Berly, Sr. Systems Engineer

Piston Speaker:
Joshua McKenty, CEO, Piston Cloud

Openstack is sweeping the cloud world as a viable open source option for building and operating cost-effective clouds.  With the challenge area of many clouds being how to incorporate and orchestrate network deployment inline with traditional addressing policies, rapid business growth, and discontiguous user workloads we are bringing together thought leaders and experienced developers from Arista, Piston Cloud, Openstack, and Intel to discuss this challenge, propose solutions for integrating Openstack with the underlying network infrastructure, and the use of APIs for automation and orchestration.
