Arista’s 7100 series of 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches offer up to 48 ports of non-blocking bandwidth at line rate, high-performance, low-latency switching with the highest port density in a 1 RU form factor.
NetworkWorld Test
The Arista 7124S rose to the #1 Clear Choice winner beating Cisco's Nexus, Dell's PowerConnect and HP's Procurve in an independent test conducted by NetworkWorld. Key performance criterion such as ultra low-latency, deterministic packet handling, wire-rate performance, balanced price/performance, and scalable multicast and link aggregation with a familiar command-line propelled the Arista 7124S to the top of the 10Gb Ethernet Data Center Switch test.
Test Results
EANTC Validated Test Results.
The European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) was commissioned by Arista Networks to test the performance of Arista’s 7148SX 48-port, 10GbE switch. The goal of the tests was to verify the performance characteristics advertised by Arista, namely the non-blocking throughput capacity and low latency of the switch. The latency was expected to remain low throughout line-rate unicast and multicast traffic tests. For more information on EANTC please visit http://www.eantc.com
