Technical Sales Manager
Arista Networks is an exciting, pre-IPO company founded and funded by well-known Silicon Valley veterans Andy Bechtolsheim and David Cheriton. Arista is developing a new class of integrated network solutions to address the scalability, performance, and reliability requirements of large scale HPC and Web data centers.
We are looking for people who are good at understanding customer needs and selling to them. In addition, a Technical Sales Manager is smart and understands technology and is able to drive most discussions independently of any Systems Engineers.
This individual will be responsible for sales of Arista Networks products and services for assigned territory.
Job requirements:
Experience with selling in the Data Center, LAN switching, and High Performance computing markets.
Good understanding of data networking products
Good understanding of Datacenter Ethernet marketplace and competitive landscape.
Strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to close
Hands-on self-starter approach
Ability to develop executive and technical relationships within a customer organization.
Ability to manage complex sales cycles
Job Responsibilities:
Direct sales for assigned territory
Meet sales objectives
Document customer requirements
Effectively articulate Arista Networks's value proposition at the technical and executive level within an organization.
Keep up to date with Arista Networks, its solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Keep up to date with the competition, its solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Review market information and competitive activities to be in tune with customer needs
