Course Syllabus
DAY 1
- Product family and architecture overview: Describes architecture of new data centers and how Arista products fulfill those requirements. Also covers internal architecture of Arista platforms.
- EOS overview and initial configuration: Describes basic features of EOS then describes basic switch configuration, monitoring, SNMP and commands.
- L2 capabilities: Describes all aspects of spanning tree, link aggregation, L2 multi-pathing (MLAG)
DAY 2
- L3 capabilities: Describe all aspects of OSPF, BGP, ECMP, router redundancy and router related helpers.
- Management and monitoring Security, Authentication, SNMP, Automated provisioning SFLOW and other management and monitoring services
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: Upgrades, updates, recovery, troubleshooting and working with Arista Support
Day 3
- Multicast: IGMP, PIM, Anycast RP configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Data plane security: Data and control plane access control lists
- Virtualization: Configuring and managing VMTracer features with VMWare;
- Also, EOS extensions, Bash scripts, loading RPM extensions, other EOS/Linux development topics
